  1. I like the girl in the picture. Is she a persona?

Nice post Zef. Can relate to many of these. The one about the card sorting – agree but I also think its a good way to prove that people don’t think in just one way to find info. I’ve often used it to determine the key categories by which to find info by. i.e. their main facets.

Also the best and fastest way I think to report on card sorting, is to just take photos of the sorts, print them and just mark ’em 🙂

  2. Nice list. I particularly empathise with the statements about certain people coming into UX over-complicating things… it’s such a common bug-bear of mine. We’re here to make things simple… you’ve got to think simple too!! There’s nothing (or shouldn’t be) anything complex about practising UX. Think like a child. 🙂

    Great article. Thanks for sharing.

  3. This reminds me of why I enjoyed working with you so much. Lulu and Emma too for that matter. Hope you’re all doing well.

    1. Hey Hamish. Thanks for the feedback! I keep in touch with Lulu and Emma, both have kids now and doing great 🙂

  4. Thanks for sharing the list. It has been very helpful and a good read. Answered a lot of the questions I have been dying to ask.
